Donald trump, lover and defender of women who aren't "bleeding from their...whatever," thinks you've got the wrong idea about him. The Washington Postreports that speaking Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," Trump attempted to set the record straight-ish on his recent comments about Megyn Kelly.
Although he never apologized to Kelly for when he said she had, "blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever," he tried to explain the comment.Trump said he wasn't referring to her menstrual cycle when he said "blood coming out of her wherever," as many opined. "I didn't even finish the thought," he said. "I was going to say nose and/or ears because that's a very common statement … it's a statement showing anger."
He went on to say, "I cherish women. I want to help women. I'm going to be able to do things for women that no other candidate would be able to do, and it's very important to me." He did not mention the "things for women" that he can do that no other candidate can.
