A 34-year-old British woman received two photos of a random guy's penis via her iPhone's AirDrop feature because that is a thing that can happen now, Daily Dot reports.
Lorraine Crighton-Smith had her AirDrop's settings open to "everyone" because she used it to share photos with her friends. What she didn't know was that this could leave her open to receiving dick pics from strange men who were nearby.
After Crighton-Smith declined the photo of the penis, she received yet another one that she also rejected, which unfortunately meant there was no way to trace the photo back to the man. Crighton-Smith said her AirDrop account name just says "Lorraine's iPhone" so the man would've known it was a woman, and she shudders to think what would've happened if a child or "someone more vulnerable than me" had received the photos.
British police say this is one of the first instances of cyber flashing they've seen, but knowing weirdo creeps, it's probably not the last, so protect yourself and turn your settings to "contacts only."
